Ex-president Zourabichvili to be walking among people, "focused on their mood, unfazed by ruling elite"
“We have assembled here to demonstrate that independence unites the Georgian people and that we will defend our freedom today, tomorrow, and always,” said former President Salome Zourabichvili to journalists on Rustaveli Avenue.
Zourabichvili announced that she would address the people later in the evening. She urged everyone to listen to her message.
“At this moment, I am not concerned with the so-called ruling team; my focus is on the people. I care about our collective mood. We have come here to show that independence is what unites us and that we will stand for it now and always. Tonight, at 9:00 p.m., I will make a statement. If you are interested in my views, reactions, and calls, I strongly encourage you to listen. Currently, I am walking among the people because their mood and our unity are of utmost importance,” Zourabichvili told the media.
