Ex-President-initiated medical aid project to be launched in regions
Sopho Japaridze, a representative of jailed ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili, announced the launch of a medical aid project for locals in the regions.
As Sopho Japaridze explained, the humanitarian project, initiated by Mikheil Saakashvili, will kick off on November 4 and has “no connection with the political agenda.”
Japaridze said she receives letters from people who live in the region about their concerns, social problems, and medical needs.
“At the initiative of Mikheil Saakashvili, we will start a humanitarian project, which involves many physicians who demonstrated social responsibility and stand by us. As far as possible, we will arrive in all regions and provide medical assistance to our citizens,” she said.
Sopho Japaridze pledged to reduce the people’s medical concerns to a minimum, no matter how “ridiculous the initiative might seem to the government.”
“This will be a very helpful project, and I promise that I will travel everywhere and always be by the side of our citizens,” she said.
