European Council President: Europe to support its values in Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine
Europe will support its values especially in the regions, with which it has strategic relations, for instance, in Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, said Charles Michel, President of the European Council in a special letter regarding the EU Vaccination Program.
Charles Michel underlined that he was surprised by the information as if Europe was not showing solidarity in its actions. He noted that everybody would be protected from coronavirus infection when every region would be protected.
“The EU ordered more than 2 million shots in advance, twice as much, as it needs for immunization of its population. Additional shots, which we will give to our partner states and world regions, will enable immunization of hundreds of millions people.
Furthermore, Europe will support its values, through concrete and strong efforts, especially in the regions, with which it has strategic relations, for instance, in the Eastern Partnership countries, including in Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, the countries I visited last week,” Charles Michel claimed.
