EU mediator to begin meetings with political parties from March 29

Christian Danielsson, a special envoy of the European Council President Charles Michel for the Georgian political crisis, will begin meetings with representatives of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party and the opposition from Monday, March 29.

EU Delegation in Georgia confirmed to the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) that the EU mediator would arrive in Georgia on March 28.

Christian Danielsson, a special envoy of the European Council President Charles Michel for the Georgian political crisis, will return to Georgia to continue mediation in the talks between the GD party and the opposition.

The EU mediator first arrived in Georgia on March 12 and stayed in the country for one week. The negotiations with his mediation ended with no promising results.
