EU Ambassador to Imedi TV journalist: I don’t want to be dragged into electoral campaign; do not chase me

“I had the great privilege of opening this hotspot together with her [activist Anano Tsintsabadze]. This is all I can say at this stage,” stated Pawel Herczynski, the Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia, in response to the Imedi TV question regarding political activist Anano Tsintsabadze.

According to the EU Ambassador, he knows that Anano Tsintsabadze is an activist and added that it was a great honour for him to open a WiFi hotspot together with her.

“This is the first time I’ve seen the lady. I understand she’s an activist. And, I had the great privilege of opening this hotspot together with her. This is all I can say at this stage. And if I can kindly ask you not to follow me, not to chase me, and not to attack me, it would be absolutely excellent. Especially now, in a very tense environment in Georgia, before the 4th of October. I don’t want to be dragged into the electoral campaign. Thank you.
