Estonian FM says political persecution must end in Georgia 

“Jailing pro-European politicians only pushes Georgia further from its EU path. The political persecution must end,” wrote Margus Tsahkna, Estonian Foreign Minister, on the X Platform.

Estonian FM urges the Georgian ruling party to release all prisoners immediately.

“Georgian authorities have once again turned to repression, arresting multiple opposition leaders in recent days.

Jailing pro-European politicians only pushes Georgia further from its EU path. The political persecution must end. Georgian Dream must release all political prisoners now,” he said.
