With the declaration of Dimitri Amilakhvari French-Georgian Dialog, we are opening a new page in the history of our relations – Emmanuel Macron, President of France said after the meeting with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili at Élysée Palace.
“Dimitri Amilakhvari died for France in 1942, he sacrificed his life for France and this dialog will enable us to carry out many projects in different directions. We both share the opinion that priority is education. . . . But we also have cultural projects and we will cooperate around cultural projects, literature and art spheres,” Macron said.
President of France said that different projects would be carried out for the welfare and benefit of Georgian youngsters within the framework of Eastern Partnership Program.
