Ekaterine Tikaradze: As a result of aggressive testing, about 20 doctors were diagnosed with coronavirus

Ekaterine Tikaradze, the Minister of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia, says that as a result of aggressive testing, about 20 doctors have been diagnosed with coronavirus.

Minister notes that their disease was mostly asymptomatic.

“About 20 doctors have been diagnosed with COVID-19. It was expected. Therefore, the algorithm has been designed based on which these groups are tested.

In general, the situation in these groups is under control. We are working hard to implement safety standards by conducting trainings in all of these groups

“It is noteworthy that disease in most cases was asymptomatic. Due to prevention, all the doctors who were found with COVID-19 are being monitored” – said Ekaterine Tikaradze.
