Eggs thrown at mayoral candidate Irakli Kupradze’s pre-election event [Video]

Irakli Kupradze, the Tbilisi mayoral candidate representing Lelo-Strong Georgia and Gakharia for Georgia, was targeted with eggs during his pre-election rally.

The incident took place amid the presentation of majoritarian candidates for Strong Georgia-Lelo and Gakharia for Georgia in the Nadzaladevi district.

Unknown individuals hurled eggs at Irakli Kupradze and the assembled people.

“It is regrettable, and I apologise for this incident. This is the true face of the Georgian Dream, which is fighting our cause in such a manner today. This is the face of the Georgian Dream, surrounded only by Titushki. The Georgian Dream is utterly ridiculous. Fellows, thank you for your energy. They won’t succeed in undermining us with such petty tactics,” Kupradze stated after the event.
