Education Minister reviews Unified National Exams at Rustavi Public School No. 15
The Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, has visited Rustavi Public School No. 15 to observe the administration of the second session of the Unified National Examinations.
According to the Ministry of Education, the Minister toured the examination centre established within the school and wished the university applicants the best of luck. The Minister was accompanied during the visit by Tamar Memanishvili, Director of the National Assessment and Examinations Centre (NAEC).
A total of 24 examination centres have been opened across 12 cities nationwide. Every centre is fully equipped with air conditioning systems. In addition, dedicated shuttle transport has been arranged from metro stations to the examination centres, with route and schedule information available on the official NAEC website.
For the 2026 examination cycle, over 83,000 candidates have registered in total, including more than 43,000 applicants specifically for the Unified National Examinations.
The 2026 examinations will traditionally be conducted across two daily sessions. The Unified National Examinations will draw to a close on July 22 with the Physics exam. Meanwhile, registered candidates for the teacher certification exams will begin their testing on July 5. The student grant competition is scheduled for July 17, while postgraduate candidates will sit their master’s degree entrance exams on July 23–24.
