Education Minister and Adjara Governor visit Saint Tbel Abuserisdze Teaching University in Shuakhevi
Georgia’s Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, alongside the Chairman of the Government of Adjara, Zurab Pataradze, has visited the Saint Tbel Abuserisdze Teaching University in the Shuakhevi Municipality.
Bishop Spiridon hosted the Minister and the Government Chairman, who introduced them to the ongoing work and operations of the higher education institution.
“This university stands as one of the most vital educational pillars of the Adjara region. Ensuring local communities have direct access to higher education makes an exceptional contribution to the development of mountainous Adjara. Under the guidance of Bishop Spiridon, this institution does not merely disseminate knowledge; it serves a cause of true national importance by nurturing responsible, highly civic-minded citizens, forming a crucial foundation for the advancement of our country and state,” Givi Mikanadze declared.
According to the Ministry of Education, the delegation also included Member of the Parliament of Georgia Anzor Bolkvadze and Adjara’s Minister of Education and Sports, Maia Khajishvili.
Saint Tbel Abuserisdze Teaching University provides a modern academic environment where students can master new professions and boost their qualifications to meet both labour market demands and individual needs.
