Economy Ministry: Over 200 auctions announced in Q1 2025, state property privatization plan exceeded by 101%
The privatization plan for the first quarter of 2025 has been successfully completed and exceeded, with more than GEL 44,500,000 mobilized into the budget, meaning the plan has been fulfilled at 101%, First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Nino Enukidze announced.
According to Enukidze, the privatization target for the first quarter of 2025 has been set at GEL 43,900,000.
“The privatization process is actively progressing. In the first quarter, the National Agency of State Property conducted over 200 electronic auctions, resulting in the sale of 133 properties. This gives us optimism that the privatization initiative will continue to thrive in the coming quarters, allowing us to further contribute funds to the budget and exceed our goals,” remarked Nino Enukidze.
The National Agency of State Property, operating under the Ministry of Economy, remains dedicated to accelerating the privatization of state assets. It will actively present a range of real estate and movable properties to the private sector.
