Economy Minister: All claims aiming to discredit significant investment by Eagle Hills are unpatriotic
“In Georgia, we are witnessing a deliberate campaign filled with falsehoods aimed at misleading the public regarding the Eagle Hills projects. However, our society is wise; it distinguishes clearly between good deeds and malicious intent,” stated Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, in response to the opposition’s comments on the investment initiative.
According to Mariam Kvrivishvili, the fact that the country has managed to attract an unprecedented investment of USD 6.5 billion will only benefit Georgia and its people.
Furthermore, the Minister of Economy reiterated that thousands of new jobs will be created in Gonio and Tbilisi as a result of the project.
“New economic opportunities will emerge for Georgian businesses, and there will be fresh prospects for the development of our tourism sector. All these unfounded claims aimed at discrediting a project of such national importance are unpatriotic,” Mariam Kvrivishvili affirmed.
