Economic Council convenes at Government Administration

The Economic Council held a meeting at the Administration of the Government today, the Government Administration reported.

The council’s members discussed ongoing economic projects and plans for the future.

The council reviewed the findings of a study conducted in cooperation with the Asian Development Bank and the United Airports in relation to the development of a new airport in Tbilisi.

In addition, the development of the energy sphere was discussed at the meeting. In particular, the conversation touched on new mechanisms for supporting renewable energy projects, for which the Government will approve updated conditions in the nearest future.
