Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs engages with ICDO Secretary-General

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Giga Kirkitadze met with the Secretary-General of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO), Arguj Kalantarli, who is paying an official visit to Georgia.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the sides reviewed global challenges in the field of civil security and emphasized the organization’s role.

Deputy Interior Minister noted that Georgia is ready to continue active and constructive cooperation with the ICDO and contribute to the implementation of common goals.

Arguj Kalantarli visited the 112 Public Safety Command Center and Emergency Situations Response Base.

Head of the Emergency Situations Management Service Teimuraz Mghebrishvili attended the meeting.
