Deputy Interior Minister says MIA remains resolute in fight against drug crime: all offenders will face full severity of law

According to Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, the Ministry continues its unwavering campaign against drug-related offences.

Darakhvelidze emphasised that the Ministry is committed to maintaining its effective efforts and that anyone involved in drug crime will be held accountable to the strictest possible extent under the law.

“Every day, the public witnesses numerous cases where drug distribution is uncovered. We have already brought to justice many individuals involved in various aspects of drug-related crime, including distribution. The Ministry will persist in its determined fight, and all those who choose to engage in drug crime will face the full weight of the law,” said Aleksandre Darakhvelidze.
