Georgian Deputy Health Ministers Tamar Gabunia and Tea Giorgadze met representatives and experts of the World Health Organization (WHO).
At the meeting, Deputy Ministers introduced the international partners to the progress achieved in primary healthcare and plans to ensure the reform’s efficiency and equal accessibility to health services across the country.
The reform aims to prevent diseases and their effective management.
The WHO experts positively assessed the taken steps and stated that primary healthcare is the basis for the hospital sector’s development.
