Deputy Economy Minister: Anaklia Deep Sea Port to be leading strategic facility in region
“We are working on revising the master plan for the Anaklia Deep Sea Port,” said Tamar Ioseliani, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, who is paying a working visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Tamar Ioseliani visited the Port of Rotterdam and became familiar with its operation and cargo loading.
According to the Deputy Economy Minister, modification of the master plan is significant.
“Modification of the master plan is significant, taking into account the interests of the market and trading countries. It is important to integrate rail, land, and maritime infrastructure in a way that ensures efficient and rapid operations. Anaklia Deep Sea Port will be the leading strategic facility in the region,” she said.
