Defense Minister: No major staff changes planned in government

No significant staff changes are planned in the government. The aim of this agitated campaign is to cause anxiety in the society, said Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Gharibashvili.

The Defense Minister answered journalists’ question about Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia’s possible quitting the post, and tagged it as misinformation.

“This agitated campaign serves only one purpose to somehow cause anxiety into the society and create an impression that there is disorder in the group. I assure you that absolutely nothing is happening,” Irakli Gharibashvili claimed.

The Defense Minister said the ‘destructive opposition,’ which was interested in creating ‘unstable environment in the country,’ distributed the misinformation.
