Defence Attachés from multiple countries visit Poti Coast Guard Base and Maritime Operations Centre

The Defence Attachés from various nations accredited in Georgia visited the Poti Base of the Coast Guard Department of the Border Police, under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as the Joint Maritime Operations Management Centre (JMOC).

Representatives of the Association of Defence Attachés toured the JMOC, where they received comprehensive information about the centre’s core activities and standard operating procedures.

According to the Georgian Border Police, at the Poti Coast Guard Base, the Defence Attachés inspected the infrastructure of the Engineering and Repair Division and the Floating Facilities Base. During the visit, the heads of the Coast Guard Department and the Attachés discussed future joint objectives and priorities.
