Deadline for registration of first-category enterprises expires on January 31
First-category enterprises should register at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development by January 31, 2026, under the Law on Energy Efficiency and Rules for Conducting Energy Audits approved by order of the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.
For registration, the enterprise must submit the relevant information from the appendix to this rule and an extract from the registry of entrepreneurs and non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entities to the Ministry’s email address – [email protected].
“An enterprise is in the first category if it meets two of the following three criteria – the total value of assets exceeds 50 million GEL, the revenue exceeds 100 million GEL, and the average number of employees is more than 250,” the Ministry said.
