Davit Usupashvili to support Shalva Shavgulidze in by-elections

Davit Usupashvili, founder of the opposition force ‘Movement for Construction’ and former Speaker of the Georgian Parliament supports Shalva Shavgulidze, lawyer, in by-elections in Mtatsminda constituency of Tbilisi.

According to the press office of “European Georgia” Party, Usupashvili met with voters together with Shalva Shavgulidze, the candidate nominated by the block of “European Georgia” and “Free Democrats” party.

“The country and the parliament needs him. People, like Shalva, must be represented in the Parliament because he has moral, professional and human characters of being an ideal MP…Apart from it, there is a specific political situation and it’s necessary to start changes. These changes must be launched with the success of the people, like Shalva Shavgulidze, who are oriented to the state interests,” Usupashvili told reporters.
