Davit Maghradze nominated for Nobel Prize

Georgian poet Davit Maghradze has been nominated for the Nobel Prize, – Giorgi Sharvashidze, Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University has made the regarding statement today.

“Many interesting novelties are expected in professional field of Davit Maghradze this year. I would like to say that the Tbilisi State University nominated him as a candidate for the Nobel Prize in Literature”, – Rector of Tbilisi State University said.

Giorgi Sharvashidze made this statement at the National Library of Parliament where Davit Magradze was awarded the Solidarity Order of the Italian Republic.

According to Rector, Maghradze is presented for the Nobel Prize as the alumnus and member of the board of the TSU society.
