Court jails a police officer for killing a woman in Tbilisi

A police officer apprehended for killing a woman on Vazha-Pshavela Avenue has been put behind the bars.

Tbilisi City Court announced the decision today.

​The police officer was officially charged yesterday. He accidentally killed a woman in Tbilisi after firing a gun in the air.

Initially, he was arrested for manslaughter, but later he was charged with murder.
