Construction safety rules will be tightened

For violation of construction safety rules the fine will be 30 thousand GEL, – Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze told the journalists after the meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament Irakli Kobakidze.

The issues concerning to construction rules were discussed during the meeting held today.

According to Kakha Kaladze, important changes will be made in connection with the construction safety.

Tbilisi Mayor said that the fine for illegal constructions on the territory belonging to state will be 25 thousand GEL and on the private property territory – 20 thousand GEL.

As the Speaker of the Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze stated after the meeting, new legislative regulations will be prepared for labor safety, which will be added to the draft on Product Security Code already initiated in the Parliament.
