Construction of modern standard residential complex underway in Borjomi for 150 IDP families

Construction of a modern standard residential complex is underway in Borjomi town, envisaged to accommodate 150 IDP families, the Ministry of IDPs, Labour, Health and Social Affairs reported.

The budget of the project is GEL 15 374 192 and includes the arrangement of exterior infrastructure.

Deputy Health Minister Giorgi Tsagareishvili and IDP Agency Director Davit Kaikatsishvili visited the construction site.

The Ministry noted that this year, fully renovated apartments were handed over to a total of 1,614 IDP families, including 762 families recently residing in Tbilisi.

Besides Borjomi, residential complexes are being constructed in three cities – Tbilisi, Zugdidi and Rustavi.
