Construction of Kombucha production facility starts in village of Karapila, located along the occupation line
Kombucha production facility will be constructed in the village of Karapila, located in the Kaspi municipality of Georgia’s Shida Kartli region.
The construction of the Kombucha natural drink factory in the village located along the Administrative Boundary Lines (ABL) is underway with the support of the Partnership Fund, Startup Georgia and USAID-Zrda. The symbolic capsule of the factory has been laid today.
The initiative by Startup Georgia and USAID-Zrda aims to support communities along the Administrative Boundary Lines (ABL).
As the US Ambassador to Georgia, Kelly Degnan, said, the initiative is important as it creates jobs in small communities such as Karapila and brings income to the local population.
