Competition announced for selecting heads and members of precinct election commissions
District Election Commissions have announced a competition to select heads and members of precinct election commissions for the October 4 municipal elections, the Central Election Administration (CEC) has said.
According to CEC, a total of 39,663 commission members will serve voters at 3,051 polling stations, of which District Election Commissions must select 9,153 heads and 15,255 members. The remaining 15,255 members can be appointed by authorized parties.
“Those wishing to participate in the competition should apply to the respective District Election Commission from August 11 to 14, from 10:00 to 18:00. It is also possible for applicants to submit competition documentation through a special electronic platform (Konkursi.cec.gov.ge),” the released information states.
