“Calling these elections ‘local’ is a crime – this is a battle in de facto elections against a de facto government,” stated Irakli Kupradze, Secretary General of the opposition Lelo party, during a briefing.
According to Kupradze, the Strong Georgia coalition has officially launched its campaign, declaring a fight for every citizen of Georgia.
“After weeks of negotiations, communication, and hope, we made this decision. Strong Georgia follows its own path—one that cannot be derailed, especially by Ivanishvili’s puppet president. This is an uncompromising fight on every possible front.
We are confronting the Russian regime and choosing to fight on other battlegrounds as well. Calling these elections ‘local’ is a deliberate distortion. This is a fight in de facto elections against a de facto government—and we will fight until the very end, until victory,” he said.
