I can confirm the good coordination between the Government of Georgia and the Parliament in the European Integration Process. This coordination gets better and better – a Member of the European Parliament for the South West England region for the Labour Party Clare Moody stated today.
Parliament’s legislative plan fully coincides with the plan of implementation of the Association Agreement.
The civil society is involved in the consultations about EU-integration.
The member of the European Parliament also underlined the importance of Georgia`s roadmap towards EU.
The aim of Europian integration was inserted in the Constitution of Georgia in 2017, which became independent from political competition.
Also, Georgia is preparing a new strategic document – A roadmap towards EU. This is more than the obligations taken under the Association Agreement – Clare Moody noted.
EU/Georgia Association Agreement implementation has discussed at European Parliament today.
