City Hall to restrict traffic in connection with preparations for New Year

In preparation for the New Year’s activities, Tbilisi City Call will restrict traffic from December 1 until January 20, 2026, on several streets.

According to the City Hall, traffic will be fully restricted at First Republic Square, and the intersection of Merab Kostava Street with First Republic Square to Sandro Inashvili Street, from Rustaveli Avenue in the direction of Tbilisi State Concert Hall to First Republic Square.

On New Year’s night, from 8 p.m. on December 31 to 8 a.m. on January 1, traffic will be fully restricted at Rustaveli Avenue, First Republic Square and Sandro Inashvili Street (from Revaz Tabukashvili Street), on the territory of Rustaveli metro station, from Merab Kostava Street and from Rustaveli Avenue intersection before the Olive Tree.
