Chinese Embassy: Ambassador thanks Economy Minister for supporting bilateral relations, expresses confidence in expanding cooperation

The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Georgia has released details regarding a meeting between the Chinese Ambassador, Zhou Qian, and Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili.

According to the embassy’s statement, Ambassador Zhou Qian expressed his gratitude to Mariam Kvrivishvili and the Ministry of Economy for their unwavering support in fostering China-Georgia cooperation.

“On July 7, the Chinese Ambassador to Georgia, Zhou Qian, held a farewell meeting with the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mariam Kvrivishvili, to mark the conclusion of his diplomatic mission. Ambassador Zhou Qian thanked Mariam Kvrivishvili and the Ministry of Economy for their immense support towards China-Georgia cooperation. He expressed his firm belief that both nations will continue to expand their collaboration based on mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, thereby driving their comprehensive strategic partnership to even greater heights.

Mariam Kvrivishvili highly commended Ambassador Zhou Qian’s exceptional contribution to the development of Georgia-China relations and promoting economic and trade cooperation, particularly in establishing and deepening their comprehensive strategic partnership. She reiterated Georgia’s readiness to work alongside China to achieve further milestone results in practical cooperation, ultimately bringing greater prosperity to both nations,” the Embassy of China said in a statement.
