Chair of Ukraine's ruling party asks General Prosecutor to probe into Saakashvili's murder plotting
“If something happens to Mikheil Saakashvili, it will be a murder,” said David Arakhamia, Chairman of Ukraine’s ruling Servant of the People party, addressing the forum in support of Georgia’s jailed ex-president in Kyiv, according to TV Pirveli.
David Arakhamia asked the Ukrainian General Prosecutor to launch probing into Saakashvili’s murder plotting. He said Ukraine’s RADA adopted a decree and urged parliaments of European countries to follow the move.
“If there is a resolution of ten European countries, the Georgian government will have no other choice. A country that aspires to join the EU cannot go against the parliaments of EU member states. I think this strategy will work. I hope that we will see the already recovered Mikheil Saakashvili on this stage,” he said.
