The Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC) delegation, headed by Chair Giorgi Kalandarishvili, holds meetings with international partners within the framework of the official visit to the US.

On November 28, the CEC delegation members held discussions at the USAID and IRI head offices about the electronic technology introduction in preparation for the 2024 parliamentary elections in Georgia.

The CEC Chair underlined that the election administration was ready to hold the elections in line with international standards. Giorgi Kalandarishvili also spoke about the CEC’s achievements and challenges.

“At the meetings, the CEC delegation emphasized the importance of the long-term cooperation and partnership that the election administration has with these organizations.

As the CEC Chair noted, the involvement of international organizations in the electoral and democratic processes is particularly important,” the CEC said.
