We will succeed that visa-free regime continues successfully – Carl Hartzell, Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia said in an interview with Week Interview Program of Georgian First Channel.

According to Hartzell, the visa-free regime is an achievement both for Georgia and the European Union. He said that the number of Georgian citizens traveling to the European countries was increasing through the challenges regarding asylum seekers and crimes remained.

However, as EU Ambassador noted, the Georgian government was dealing with the challenges seriously. “We will ensure that the small number of people, who negatively use the advantage, does not inflict harm to the majority,” Hartzell claimed.
