Cabinet discusses hydropower plants Project

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili led the Executive Government Meeting today. Cabinet considered 13 agenda issues.

The project proposal for the development and facilitation of two hydropower plants initiated by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development was among the discussion topics. Out of them one with a capacity of 11.8 megawatts will be built in Oni Municipality, while the other one with a capacity of up to 6 megawatts – in Chkhorotsku Municipality. The total investment in constructing both power plants is estimated at over 30 MLN USD.
