Budu Zivzivadze has completed a medical examination and signed a contract with Heidenheim, valid until 2029, the club’s official website confirms.
The Karlsruher striker, who ranks as the second top scorer in the Bundesliga with 12 goals after the autumn season, turned down offers from clubs in China and South Korea to pursue his career at a higher level in Germany’s top division.
Heidenheim’s press service announced that Zivzivadze will join the team at their training camp in Algorfa starting January 3.
Heidenheim sits third from the bottom in the Bundesliga, battling to secure its place in Germany’s top flight.
