British Ambassador Gareth Ward departs from Georgian Foreign Ministry

The British Ambassador to Georgia, Gareth Ward, has left the Foreign Ministry premises. The ambassador has not provided any comments to the media.

The Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has yet to issue an official statement regarding the summoning of the British Ambassador.

It is also worth noting that the German Ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, was summoned to the Foreign Ministry yesterday, September 24.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the German ambassador was informed that, in accordance with the Vienna Convention, a member of a diplomatic mission is obliged not to interfere in the internal affairs of the host state.
