Border Police Head participates in 5th meeting of Black Sea International Maritime Forum

Border Police Head Davit Tamazashvili, alongside the delegation, participated in the 5th meeting of Black Sea International Maritime Forum.

According to the Border Police, the forum, organized by the United States Naval Forces Europe and Africa Command and the Republic of Turkiye Naval Forces Command, was held in Istanbul.

“Representative delegations from the military, naval, border and coast guard services of 15 countries participated in the forum, which reviewed cooperation strengthening, facing challenges and their resolution and supporting regional initiatives.

Within the framework of the forum, the Georgian Border Police delegation held a bilateral meeting with the leadership of the United States 6th Naval Fleet Combined Tactical Force (CTF-166). The sides discussed ongoing and planned projects and prospects for deepening partnership relations.
