Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria sign memorandum on energy cooperation

A Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening cooperation in the field of green electricity transmission and trade has been signed between the economy ministries of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, and Bulgaria.

Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Vakhtang Tsintsadze signed the memorandum on behalf of Georgia in Azerbaijan’s capital, Baku.

According to the ministry, the memorandum aims to develop and strengthen economic, scientific, and technical cooperation to promote joint green electricity projects.

Under the memorandum, a working group will be established to develop joint cooperation plans and oversee their implementation and analysis.
