Awarding ceremony held at General Headquarters of Defence Forces

Awarding ceremony of soldiers was held at the General Headquarters of the Georgian Defence Forces.

Giorgi Matiashvili, Lieutenant General and Chief of Defence Forces of Georgia, awarded soldiers with certificates and badges for the fulfilment of their assigned duties and commended them for serving the motherland.

Awarding soldiers once a quarter has become a tradition. Shamil Gigleman, Zurab Gogiashvili, Zuran Bendeliani, Giorgi Chincharauli and Zurab Lomidze received awards this time.

The best military personnel in the Defence Forces are revealed based on various criteria, including discipline, level of physical and combat training, quality of performance of assigned duties, decision-making and teamwork skills. The project aims to motivate military servicemen.
