Austrian Airlines to launch Vienna-Tbilisi flights in May

Starting May 2, 2024, Austrian Airlines will begin its operations at Tbilisi Shota International Airport, providing direct regular flights between Vienna and Tbilisi three times a week.

Irakli Karkashadze, the Director General of the United Airports of Georgia, describes this development as a positive outcome of Georgia’s EU membership candidate status, contributing to the successful conclusion of negotiations with Austrian Airlines.

The tickets are already available on the airline’s website (www.austrian.com).

Austrian Airlines, established in 1957, serves as the official Austrian carrier and operates as a subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group.
