Participants gathered at the April 9 Memorial reaffirmed their oath once again, accompanied by poignant speeches.

Family members of those detained during the demonstrations on Rustaveli Avenue were also present near the parliament.

“On Rustaveli Avenue, where our heroes courageously stood 36 years ago—united in prayer and song against Soviet forces—we swear before their martyred souls that we will safeguard their achievements, stand by every fighter, defend prisoners of conscience, and relentlessly fight for the freedom of our country and its people,” the gathering declared.

Late last night, rally participants, joined by Paata Burchuladze, took the oath at the April 9 Memorial on Rustaveli Avenue, commemorating the enduring struggle for liberty.
