Archil Talakvadze holds meetings within visit to US

The Speaker of the Parliament Archil Talakvadze, with the accompanying delegation, serves the first working visit to the USA. Speaker holds bilateral meetings in the US Senate and House of Representatives.

The democratic reforms, economic cooperation and security are key issues discussed during the meetings.  Constitutional reform and the elections were discussed as well.

The progress achieved in the Euro-Atlantic integration process was positively assessed during the meetings with congressmen and senators.

Congressmen and senators emphasized that Georgia successfully fulfills its obligations.
