“The ultimate gratitude belongs to the Georgian people, to our society. Without the support of the Georgian people for the course the country has taken, not a single success would have been possible,” Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze declared during his annual report to Parliament.

According to Kobakhidze, the public stood fully on guard to protect the country’s national interests.

“Despite serious challenges, despite blackmail and numerous attempts to mislead the public, society stood firmly on guard to protect our country’s national interests. I will say it again: without the people’s resilience, none of our successes would have been possible. Therefore, I thank the Georgian people and Georgian society for their resilience and for steadfastly safeguarding Georgia’s sovereignty and independence!” Irakli Kobakhidze stated.

The head of government also thanked parliamentarians and the government team for their successful work.

“I would like to thank Parliament and its members. Highly significant laws have been passed, including through our joint efforts during the reporting period, and the Georgian government continuously feels the support of every one of you. Thank you, MPs, for your backing. Without your support, the government’s work could not have been successful.

I also want to extend my gratitude to the government team. This is a team of professionals, and all the results I had the opportunity to present today are the outcome of the hard work of each individual and each minister. In reality, our achievements extend far beyond what I was able to discuss today; due to time constraints, I naturally could not cover everything. However, the list presented to you today already demonstrates the fundamental changes the government team has implemented during the reporting period. My thanks go to every minister, every member of the government, the Head of the Government Administration, and their team for their support and vital work,” the Prime Minister stated.
