American Senators to fund Georgian start-ups with USD half million

The Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) and the American private investors’ group Tech Friends of Georgia signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

The Georgian General Consulate in San Francisco organized the event. According to the Foreign Ministry, the signing ceremony took place online.

Georgian General Consul Levan Beridze opened the activity. Georgian Minister of Economy Natia Turnava and Minnesota Senator Norm Coleman addressed the participants.

Senator Norm Coleman actively cooperates with Georgian private companies and contributes to the promotion of Georgian business in the US.

Based on the memorandum, the GITA will select capable start-ups, which will be funded by Tech Friends of Georgia with USD half a million.
