Ambassadors from 16 countries present credentials to President Mikheil Kavelashvili
A ceremony for the presentation of credentials by resident and non-resident ambassadors took place at the Presidential Palace of Georgia.
According to the Presidential Administration, credentials were formally presented by the ambassadors of 16 countries, including Israel, France, Hungary, Ireland, Australia, Montenegro, South Africa, Chile, Kyrgyzstan, Congo, Portugal, New Zealand, Belarus, as well as the Arab Republics of Egypt, and the Sultanate of Oman and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on behalf of their respective presidents.
“Following the official ceremony, Mikheil Kavelashvili extended his best wishes to the ambassadors for success in their future endeavours,” the Administration noted.
The event was attended by Ketevan Kvinikadze, Head of the Presidential Administration, and Giorgi Zurabashvili, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
