All election precincts counted, Vladimer Kakhadze received 61,83%, Shalva Shavgulidze - 38, 17%

All polling stations have been counted in Mtatsminda Constituency.

According to Central Election Commission, preliminary results according to all 31 election precincts stands as follows:

№13 Shalva Shavgulidze (European Georgia- Free Democrats) – 38, 17% (6 630 votes)

№41 Vladimer Kakhadze (Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia) – 61,83% (10 738 votes).

At the CEC’s summarizing news briefing, Tamar Zhvania, CEC Chairperson thanked voters who actively participated in elections and exercised their civic duties: “I would like to thank the employees of Election Administration for their work as they have ensured all conditions for voters to freely exercise their suffrage. I would like to thank those electoral stakeholders who showed their responsibilities in their duties and supported the transparency and smooth conduct of electoral processes” – stated Tamar Zhvania.

The second round of Parliamentary By-elections were held at N1 majoritarian election district (Mtatsminda).
