Since July 15, the Georgian Agency for IDPs and Eco-migrants has spent GEL 1.800.000 on social aid and accommodation for Ukrainian refugees, GEL 200.000 on temporary housing, and GEL 800.000 on medical treatment.
According to the agency, the social-economic support program for Ukrainian refugees has been extended by 6 months, based on the decision of the October 25 cabinet meeting.
The agency continues to work with several international organizations. Those who do not match the government’s standards but wish to benefit from the program may request mediation with the UNHCR, World Vision Georgia, ASB Georgia, and Care Caucasus.
