Adjara Government Chairman briefs on launch of tourism season in Batumi

“Adjara will host the new tourist season with upgraded products and services,” said Sulkhan  Tamazashvili, Chairman of the Adjara government at the briefing in the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) in Batumi.

At the event held in connection with the forthcoming tourist season in Batumi, Tamazashvili remarked that he “expected a successful season” preconditioned by increasing revenues from tourism, stability and a peaceful environment.

“Adjara will meet the new tourist season with upgraded tourist products and services. We will be opening new tourist objects gradually. At the same time, public order and healthcare are crucial,” he said, commending the MIA’s police and rescue teams for caring about the security of both locals and tourists.
